Business Program
Business Program at UIBE
The University of International Business and Economics is a renowned Chinese university. At UIBE you can choose to enroll in Elementary or Business Chinese and classes are available for all levels¨C from Beginner to Advanced. It is recommended that Business Chinese students have a basic level before enrolling. Each class has 8-15 students and are all held at UIBE taught by Chinese professors.
The program aims to allow students of a high proficiency in Chinese to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of modern China's economic environment in a short period of time. At present, the program is divided into two sub-programs (A and B) as detailed below. Generally speaking, Program A starts in fall and Program B in spring. Students who have completed all the courses and passed all the course examinations will be granted a certificate of completion.

One-on-One Business Mandarin Tutoring
Our One-on-One program can complement your studies at UIBE or independently strengthen your Chinese. With a personal, professional Chinese tutor you will be able to practice all elements of your Mandarin Chinese. The tutor will help you develop a personalized study plan specific to your interests and commercial sector. Time and location of your tutoring is up to you and your tutor.
Lotus suggests 20 hours a week (4 hours M-F). More hours can be arranged by request. Total of 4 to 6 Hours of Class Per Day.
While learning business Chinese at the University of International Business and Economics, you will also be placed with a homestay family where you can practice your newly learned skills. We will make sure to find a family that matches your personal interests and business experiences.

Homestay
The basis of our program is the homestay aspect. This is where the skills you learn in the classroom will become directly applicable. Use the language to navigate within a purely Chinese environment. Your homestay family will be specifically selected with family members who have business backgrounds that match your needs and interests. It is here that you will notice the greatest improvement and satisfaction with your efforts.
